German manager Jürgen Klopp already spoke about the future that lies ahead for Liverpool, but he revealed more details about this Golden Generation.Ever since the Premier League started for Liverpool FC, the club had only been able to either buy or produce very few good players who could be considered world class but that has changed with Jürgen Klopp’s arrival.Fenway Sports Group had the vision of building a squad for the next two decades that could create a new dynasty that could make all Reds’ supporters proud, in order to achieve this several steps needed to be made very carefully. The first and most important phase was getting the ideal manager for the squad, someone with the talent to spot amazing players from unlikely places at very young ages, and with the sensitive intuition to also bring local players up from the academy. There have been very few managers in football history who have this whole package rolled in one, we can easily say that the best in the business right now is German manager Jürgen Klopp.Since he arrived at Liverpool the chemistry was quite rapid, the fans quickly identified with the German manager’s energy and the players soon knew that this was the perfect man for the job.It has taken Klopp three years to win everyone over at Liverpool and England, today he has the squad at the very top of the Premier League table and with a bright future ahead.”We are really in the middle of the development so that’s just good news for Liverpool.” 🙌Klopp on planning for the future and the present…— Liverpool FC (@LFC) January 18, 2019“These 17, 18 players, plus the really young boys, that’s the squad of the future. It should be like this. It’s investment, the club gave us the opportunity to do it — really nice,” Klopp said via The Mirror.“Keeping all of them together means we would have a better chance of making the next step next season than we had in previous years.”“The age group is good. This season will not finish our development. It doesn’t look like we’ll lose any key player, it looks like the players are here with all they have, enjoying it with the other boys, in the stadium, training ground. Progress is something everyone should expect.”“The club has given us the fantastic opportunity to bring in outstanding players and keep those outstanding players.”“Last year, we felt comfortable and could bring in the boys without losing players in the summer.”“Yes, we lost Emre Can, who was an important player, but we could replace him immediately with Fabinho.”Solskjaer praises Harry Maguire after Man United’s 1-0 win Andrew Smyth – September 14, 2019 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer singled out Harry Maguire for praise after helping Manchester United keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Leicester City.“And the Coutinho transfer saw one world class player leave but gave us the opportunity to sign two world-class players. That is how it is sometimes.”“We always try to do the next step and it looks like we did it, but I only want to talk about this season. It is the most important we ever played — because it is the one we are in.”“But there will come another one and we have to make sure we are ready for that as well,” he concluded.Jurgen Klopp top 5 Liverpool signings.Which one is your favorite, Reds? 👀🔴 #LFC pic.twitter.com/Pnfe7TSBrQ— Anfield HQ (@AnfieldHQ) January 18, 2019Even if the Reds don’t end up winning the Premier League this season, there is a newfound sense of certainty that nobody in the modern football era had ever felt at Liverpool.Klopp made sure that the squad became respected all over Europe again, just like it was in the old days before the European Cup format changed and the Reds ran rampant in every stadium they played.Despite not having won a single title yet, Liverpool has already reached the Europa League final, the Champions League final, and today they can easily say that they are the most feared club in English football. All of this was thanks to Klopp’s vision, his prediction may not materialize as early as this season but there is no doubt that the titles will come sooner rather than later. The key was right there in front of everybody, all Liverpool needed was to keep their key players and start trusting on their own local products in order to get the results they are having today.Jürgen Klopp: “I think of all the contract renewals I have been involved with, this one was done in almost record time. He might be from Glasgow originally, but everything about him screams Liverpool.” pic.twitter.com/hGVmxRBpgj— “YNWA” LFC Story (@LFCHistoryShow) January 17, 2019How long will it take Liverpool to win their first major trophy under Jürgen Klopp? Toyota Toyota has big plans in America, and to accomplish them it will be investing $749 million into its various US manufacturing facilities in addition to creating jobs for 586 people according to a report published Thursday by Reuters. What could Toyota be planning that would have it ready to whip its checkbook out for a significant chunk of a billion greenbacks? More hybrids. Duh. This is Toyota we’re talking about, so of course it’s more hybrids. It also plans to ramp up its US-based engine production, presumably to help with that whole “more hybrids” thing. But, business being business and politics being what they are right now, it also seems likely that Toyota’s expansion of its US production is a show of allegiance to the powers that be in hopes of staving off increased tariffs on the goods that it imports from Japan. As The Dude says, “You gotta feed the monkey, man.”Keep in mind that Toyota and Mazda announced last year that they’d be teaming up on a $1.6 billion plant in Alabama and way back in 2017, it pledged to invest $10 billion by 2022. It then bumped that number recently by an additional $3 billion, of which Thursday’s announcement is a part.Toyota committed to putting the money from Thursday’s announcement toward an additional 230,000 engines’ worth of capacity at its current Alabama plant by the end of 2021, and it will also add new four- and six-cylinder engine lines to the factory. The plant in Kentucky will get a cash infusion to help it build Lexus ES and RAV4 hybrids.Toyota boss Akio Toyoda is set to give a speech in Washington, DC on Friday where presumably he’ll flaunt that sweet $13 billion figure, and we only hope he’s invested sufficiently in air horns and engaged the services of a qualified hype man on his behalf.Toyota didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

COPY LINKAD Loading … Testing the ASAT today, India showed its military might in space as it became the 4th country to become a part of the elite space power club.Representative imageFor the second time in a week, Pentagon has come out strongly in support of India’s Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) missile test saying that Mission Shakti was imperative considering the threat from space. Pentagon had earlier rubbished the claims of National Aeronautical Space Agency (NASA) of A-SAT test being terrible and disturbing the space order. It was claimed that the test created 400 odd pieces of orbital debris and posed a danger to the International Space Station (ISS).On March 27, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the launch of the ground to space missile that destroyed a satellite, the nation had joined the elite group of space powers that include the United States, China and Russia.US Strategic Command Commander General John E Hyten told members of the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday that the key points from India’s A-SAT test were that India did the test to defend itself from the threats in space. Gen. Hyten was responding to the US Senator’s queries on why India conducted the ASA-T test.”The first lesson from the Indian ASAT is just the simple question of why did they do that. And the answer should be, I think to all the committee looking at it, is that they did that because they are concerned about threats to their nation from space,” he said. The US Senators raised the alarm after NASA chief Jim Bridenstine said that the test was a “terrible thing” that endangered the ISS and created 40 pieces of orbital debris. The premier space agency claimed that it had tracked nearly 60 orbital debris and that 24 were going above the apogee of ISS.Pentagon, standing firmly in support of India, said that such incidences had happened in the past as well when China sent 100,000 pieces of debris in 2007 during its anti-satellite test.In 2009, a satellite collision took place between the US and an old Russian satellite that also resulted in debris in the space.Gen. Hyten observed that in such challenging times when four countries have acquired A-SAT capabilities, there was a dire need to introduce safe environmental norms in the space. He advocated for the development of some kind of international norms of behaviour in space.”And where those norms of behaviour should begin, from my opinion, is with debris, because as the combatant commander responsible for space today, I don’t want more debris,” he added. ‘Terrible, terrible thing’, created 400 pieces of debris: NASA Chief on India’s ASAT test
L&T Infotech — the IT services arm of domestic engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro — has got the market regulator’s nod to issue an initial public offer (IPO) worth Rs 2,000 crore. The company will issue 1,75,00,000 equity shares with face value of Re 1 each. It had fled a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on 28 September. The funds raised through IPO will be used to improve its growth in the coming years, a company official had told PTI last month.L&T chairman AM Naik had said in June last year that India’s biggest engineering and construction company will sell 10% stake in IT services unit as part of its plans to monetise non-core businesses.L&T Infotech will be the second unit of the parent company to go public, after L&T Finance Holdings Ltd — the financial services arm — was listed in 2011.Naik had estimated the software division’s profit to go up to Rs 900 crore in FY16 compared to Rs 762 crore of last fiscal year.L&T Infotech currently has a headcount of more than 20,000 people; it has Chevron Corp., Hitachi Ltd and Lafarge SA as its top clients. In 2009, the parent company had made an unsuccessful bid to take over Satyam Computer Services, which was hit by India’s biggest corporate fraud at that time.
Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC)The state-run IDBI bank has filed a petition against Reliance Naval and Engineering Ltd in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for defaulting on debt worth more than Rs 1,250 crore. Reliance Naval is part of Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group conglomerate and has a licence and contract to build warships.Mint reported that the IDBI bank has requested the Ahmedabad bench of NCTL to initiate a resolution process against the company. The party questioned the selection of a company which is reeling under high debt for the multi-crore deal with the French government.Similarly, the State Bank of India (SBI) has taken Jindal India Thermal Power project in Odisha to the NCTL insolvency proceedings as a process of stake sale failed. Last week, the 180-day deadline to find a resolution ended without anything concrete. The project landed in a trouble after the Supreme Court ordered the cancellation of the coal block and recently operating at below optimum level. The total amount of loan held by owned by the Jindal India Thermal Power to a consortium of 17 lenders, led by SBI is around Rs 57.7 billion. Out of the total amount the SBI’s exposure is Rs 14 billion. The SBI is yet to take a decision on the bench where it would be filing the case. Notably, the SBI had announced expression of interest for selling 51 percent stake in the company to recover its debt but the SBI was forced to take the process to the NCLT following muted response.
